Who she is
The figure on every page is Mika Tanabe, a drawn manga character. She writes each page, from the six home page panels to the weekly reading of every casino. She is a drawing, not a real person.
Metro Vancouver has nine casinos in this guide, and they keep different hours. Inside each room, the floor, the live tables and the poker room can keep different hours again. Some rooms publish only table and poker hours. Where that happens, the page shows what is published and marks the floor hours as not published.
Each page answers one question: which rooms are open at a given hour.
How she checks
Every fact on the site was checked on October 7, 2026, against the casinos' own pages and official sources. Some casino sites block automated reading. For those, the facts come from archived copies of the same pages.
Each published hour is then read into a week that starts at Monday 12 AM and runs in minutes. A night that runs past midnight is split into two parts, one on each day. Where a time is open-ended, such as until late, the hours up to midnight show as open with no closing time published, and the hours after midnight as not stated. A night the published hours do not cover is marked not stated too. Where a casino publishes only table or poker hours, its floor hours are marked as not published.
What she never does
Mika Tanabe never plays. She does not rank rooms, and a room open longer is not shown as better. She never appears next to the paid links, which sit only on the home page and are marked Ad. She does not speak for any casino: the guide is independent, takes no bets and has no accounts.
